A Message from Principal Sussman
Dear Parents:
I'm delighted to welcome your child to Mark Twain School for the 2024-2025 school year.
Our goal is to provide the best possible educational opportunities for your child. We believe that these opportunities can be best provided when the school, parents, and community work together for this common purpose. Mark Twain School is a place where students learn, grow, and achieve. Our staff is dedicated to our mission: “In collaboration with parents and community we will create a safe and nurturing environment. We will provide students with the opportunity to become lifelong learners of strong character and contributing members of a diverse society.”
Mark Twain Cougars are recognized weekly for their efforts in making our school a safe and orderly place to learn. Parents are always welcome to join us for our Monday morning celebrations! If there are any questions that come to mind as you review this site, please contact us. All questions are good questions and we certainly encourage you to ask at any time. If we can personally be of help to you or your family in any way during the upcoming school year, please let us know. We always like to meet students and their families. We look forward to the opportunity to assist you.
We believe in the value of living in a diverse society and Mark Twain is a shining example of diversity at its best. With families from all over the world, Twain represents the best the world has to offer. We celebrate our differences and work together to make our school a great place to be. I am proud to say that the Mark Twain Community members speak 36 different languages.
